The group's surf and psych rock influences were a natural fit for the game's direction, with the developers imagining a Tarantino soundtrack when sourcing music for Shadows. In a twist, the band were tasked with interpreting Jesper Kyd's iconic series theme, "Ezio's Family" - a fan favourite normally adapted as part of the score music. The TEKE:: TEKE members' Japanese heritage connected them deeply to the game's setting.
